  • Energy Audit - Fact based information

Want the hard facts on your pump performance?

Would you like to reduce the operating costs and optimise pump efficiency?

Energy Check gives you an overview of the life cycle costs of one or more pumps and recommendations for optimisations that will benefit the environment as well as your finances. Based on nameplate data and customer input, the Energy Check is a simple and quick way to take charge of your operating costs.

Energy Check

Energy Check includes an analysis carried out by skilled personnel, calculating the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of your existing pumps. The final report identifies potential savings from switching to more energy efficient Grundfos pumps based on the findings of the analysis

Benefits

  • Reduce energy consumption and improving the environmental profile of your facility
  • Comprehensive overview of your current expenses and potential savings
  • Your facility will meet design standards for energy using products on circulators and pump motors

A comprehensive analysis of pump performance
Energy Audit

An Energy Audit is a diagnostic tool developed by Grundfos specialists to identify excessive energy consumption. The service is based on specific pump performance measurements. It focuses on the amount of material the pump handles and on flow variations during a short and well-defined period.

During the audit, a specialist measures countable values such as flow and energy consumption; analogue values such as pressure, temperature, and water levels; and incident rates such as pump start/stop, and valve open/close.

Based on these metrics, the audit assesses the overall efficiency of your pumps and proposes changes to improve efficiency. Final suggestions are based on calculations of potential savings, CO2 emission reductions and payback time on the up-front investment.

Six easy steps to Energy savings

1. Initial Contact

Grundfos secures a pre-qualification of your facility through a discussion of the types of pumps you use, your applications, your process flow, size, age of existing pumps and other relevant information.

2. Diagnosis

We visit your premises and draw up a preliminary list of performance data and installed pumps. This allows us to pinpoint areas requiring optimisation.

3. Proposal

Based on the diagnosis, we will propose suggested actions. During the walkthrough, we make observations of the pump system.

4. Fulfilment

Here, we carry out a comprehensive Energy Check of your entire system or selected parts before drawing up a report on the potential energy savings.

5. Assessment

Should you choose to replace or upgrade pumps, we can help you select the right pump solution for your system based on optimum performance and energy and cost savings.

6. Follow-up

We will follow up on the performed service to ensure optimal service delivery and satisfactory pump performance.
